Aligned with the development needs of the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the research at the NUS Guangzhou Research Translation and Innovation Institute (NUS GRTII) primarily focuses on the following key areas:

Smart City, Information and Communications, Electronic Science and Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence Applications, Biological Technology, and Financial Technology.

Leveraging the world-class research strengths of the National University of Singapore, NUS GRTII brings leading scholars from NUS to collaborate with local research teams, actively promoting scientific research, research translation, and postdoctoral programmes.
